I knew that Edison's t...I really enjoyed this post. I knew that Edison's teacher had called him "addled," but I didn't realize he was almost 4 before he talked. That really struck me as my own boys were not slow to talk, but they were s-l-o-w in their enunciation. I despaired of ever being able to understand them! I've since found lots of boys to be this way.
